Going Through Divorce and Not Exploding
If I had tried to handle divorce by myself, I would have blown up. Though I hate someone else was going through it at the same time, it was a lifesaver to nurture a friendship with common experiences.

Thanks to Lisa for sharing her experience. Having someone to talk with who really understands what you’re going through can be a big help when you are dealing with divorce. A supportive friend may help ease the loneliness and help you to realize that your emotions are normal. Having support can also help you to avoid the tendency to get romantically involved with someone before you are sufficiently healed from divorce.
Is there someone in your life who has helped you, or who is helping you, to get through divorce? Tell us about it. Just send in your story by clicking on the “Share Your Story” button on this page.
Christian Thought for Today:
For if one of them falls, the other can help him up. But it is hard for the one who falls when there is no one to lift him up.
